STRTP School is open
A free startup school on strtp.org: 35 short video lessons with Startup Max, one every workday until 4 December. Lesson 1 is out.
STRTP School is open. It is a free and easy startup school: 35 short video lessons that explain how startups work, so you understand the basics before you join an accelerator. Startup Max hosts it, and a new lesson comes out every workday, from Monday 19 October to Friday 4 December.
Lesson 1 is out
The first lesson asks what a startup really is, and why the answer is about growth, not about being new or small. Watch it at strtp.org/school. Lesson 2, why most startups die, comes out on 20 October.
What you learn
- Foundations. What a startup is, why most die, and a problem worth solving.
- Hypotheses and testing. Turn the plan into guesses, talk to users and test before you build.
- Fit, metrics and economics. How to know it works: retention, unit economics and pricing.
- Growth and the company. One number to grow, first sales, the launch and the team.
- Fundraising and rhythm. When to raise, how to pitch, and how to keep going.
How it works
- Sign up at strtp.org/school with your first name and email. There is no password.
- You get your own school page. It keeps your progress, and a lesson ticks itself when you watch it to the end.
- Your private link comes by email, so you can open your page on any device.
- Each new lesson comes to your inbox the day it is out. You can turn the emails off at any time.
