King Danylo University partnership agreement signing

Startupers partners with King Danylo University

King Danylo University and Startupers OÜ signed a partnership in December 2025: mentoring, hackathons, guest lectures and a path to market for student startups.

King Danylo University and Startupers sign a partnership

On 5 December 2025, Startupers OÜ signed a partnership agreement with King Danylo University (UKD) in Ivano-Frankivsk. Max Moneta, founder and CEO of Startupers, signed for the company. Myroslav Lutskyi, rector of UKD, signed for the university.

The partnership aims to grow student innovation, entrepreneurial thinking and a modern startup culture at UKD. In short, students get to start companies while they study, with mentors who have already done it.

What we plan to do together

  • Build a platform where students learn, find mentors and run their own projects.
  • Hold hackathons.
  • Give guest lectures.
  • Bring practitioners into the teaching process.

For UKD students, this means they can build their own startups during their studies. They get mentoring from international experts, take part in real projects, and reach the market and investors.

Why practice matters

A small academic project teaches a student a lot, but it rarely meets a customer. Max explains the gap the partnership is meant to close:

"General knowledge is valuable, but its real weight shows when it can be put to commercial use. Learning a technology and finishing a small academic project is one level. When students are mentored by people who have already launched startups in business, they combine knowledge with practice and an understanding of the market."

Every idea matters

For the university, the partnership is about giving student ideas somewhere to go. Rector Myroslav Lutskyi put it this way:

"Our goal is for King Danylo University to become a place where students can bring their ideas to life. Every idea matters, and we have to support it. This partnership lets us be consistent in supporting and developing students, and lets students realise themselves while they are still studying."

What comes next

Universities are one of the three sides of a startup ecosystem, next to founders and businesses. Our job is to put them in the same room. The Startupers Online welcomes universities, accelerators and startup schools to open their programs and events to the whole community.

Students and founders can add themselves at startupers.online.
